About Me
I’m originally from Dallas, Texas, where I grew up immersed in the world of fashion from my earliest memories. My mother ran her own independent clothing label while also working as a pattern maker, costume designer, and consultant in Dallas’ thriving apparel industry.
Cutting tables, dress forms, bolts of fabric, rows of machines, models, and the constant movement of people and production shaped how I understand design: something alive, collaborative, and deeply technical. Much of my childhood was spent inside factories and showrooms, watching garments come to life from raw material to finished form.
I began my career in fashion at Adidas, where I had the exciting opportunity to design and develop the original fit for the WNBA uniforms. I also contributed to NBA and NCAA programs and Stella McCartney’s 2012 Olympic basketball uniforms. Seeking to deepen my work within the broader landscape of fashion and art, I moved to New York City. There I had the pleasure and distinction to work with Jason Wu, AREA NYC, DVF, Loeffler Randall, Marc Jacobs, Saint Art New York, Broadway productions, and several prominent visual and performance artists.
Over the past 25+ years, my career has taken me to the global centers of fashion, from the iconic canyons of New York’s garment district to ateliers in Milan, silk mills of India, and factories throughout Turkey, Vietnam and Thailand. These experiences shaped a global understanding of how design moves through materials, cultures, and production systems.
I specialize in technical design, development, and production, with particular expertise in fit-critical categories including ready-to-wear wovens, athletic wear, swim, denim, and couture. I partner with brands to guide products from concept through development, ensuring they are both creatively compelling and viable in the marketplace.
Alongside this work, I maintain a practice as an artist. Through dyeing and material manipulation, I create sculptural textile works that explore emotional storytelling through fabric.
Both practices are rooted in transformation — shaping fabric, ideas, and emotion into structure and impact.
I bridge intuition and engineering, carrying ideas from imagination into physical form.
